On the road to Ghurka we stranded in a small village. Passing a big hole in the road the air suspension of the bus breakdown. It was some problem with the compressor. According the efficiency with which the things were disassembled it happens all the time. The group disperse through the village. With video and camera we shoot a great number of romantic pictures. Above you see some of the numerous characteristic trucks and some of the bridges, who give the locals the opportunity to pass the river even in the monsoon. We passed beautiful landscapes, sky-blue rivers and magnificent yellow fields.
We were lucky with the whether. The participants of the previous voyage don't want to believe, that there are mountains in Nepal indeed. Everywhere we came we took photo's with the beautiful mountains in the background with high up to 8000 meters. The Himalaya has come to existence, because the earth crust with Tibet just turn over. The main part of Nepal is at 700 meters. On 70 meters they a piece of India. Nepal always was the passage between China and India. Until now these are the countries with great influence in Nepal...
Above you see a couple of mountains taken from the airplane on the last day. Is was quiet exiting. Very early in the morning we arrived on the airport. We have to wait for the whether. We were one of the first take offs. In front of the Mount Everest everybody could come tot the cockpit to see the biggest mountain in the world and taking pictures. Quiet expensive the flight, but worthy...
The beautiful painted trucks die out in India now a days. In India they constructed in the passed twenty years a lot of new roads. This kind of trucks are mandatory in area's were roads almost don't exist. They are totally indestructible, slow and relative expensive in use. Modern trucks fulfill there duties better in the plains of India. Reparations were done themselves. The driver and his assistance live there life in this cars. The owners tries to decorate their homes as nice as possible...
