Bangkok and surrounding is at least as watery as Holland. Numerous trips with boats are organized over the canals. This differs from enormous canal touring boats to James Bond boats and rafts. World-famous is the floating market. Hundreds of scenery boats are in the water, while along the shore the customers crowded around the food to sample and buy. After the market the women go along the canals to sell the rest. Beneath you can see a number of people to lift a James Bond Boat, that turn over. It are some wide canoes with an enormous truck motor. To the end of a long axle there is a propeller, that hit the water powerful and don't bother the water plants because of his enormous force. Some kind of recycling of dismissed truck motors...
The floating market is world famous. But not everybody experienced this happening in the same way. The crowed of tourists makes it impossible to shoot an authentic photo was the complain of Ton Frijters. Perhaps they were later on of the day or another season. For sure the real enthusiasm of the merchants wasn't there. May be it differs for them because the phenomenon wasn't a surprise. Some ladies have a complete kitchen on their boats. You ask yourself how has to eat all the things. We didn't for sure, when we run around for taking the nicest pictures and video...
