Elephants aren't used any more as tractor nowadays. Therefore the animals are to expensive in use. Every day elephants need an enormous amount of food. There digestion is rather inefficient and most of the food were excreted unused. There are a number new types of animals that exists from these remains. Elephants have a delicate skin. They like bathing very much.
The relationship of driver and elephant is something for the whole life. Fifteen years ago they bring some unused elephants on a farm and created some performances and rides for the tourists. That is nice. Every day the elephants are standing in line in the middle of the river in front of hundreds of tourists for there daily bath. Everywhere the young elephants are fooling around. Tourists (women) are allowed to assist the drivers by the washing. There are few volunteers. Because drivers of the bus afterwards don't like soaked tourists.
Elephants can learn everything when they are young. After that less. The real performances are done by elephants half as big as there parents, younger then 15 years. They can hit the drums, dance, playing football, etc. One of them makes paintings. The result is much better, then you could expect. Their parents can move big beams or ride the tourists only. Above some tractor suitable for wet lands working with only some small drops of benzene a day.
