There are some differences in the program. We sail with a James Bond boat from the Summer palace over the wide river to the ruins of the previous capital Ayuthaya. This city had a very strategically position in the middle of two rivers, but were destroyed by some Birma army. There remain only some beautiful ruins of temples. From brick there come to existence some very rare shapes. Partly intended, partly because of the centuries. It is stretched kilometers in the surrounding. The analogical camera has big difficulties with the distances. Some temples and pagodas are good. Even the digital cameras of the others run in trouble...

Ton Frijters was with his group in Phisanulok too. I have no idea where this city is located. I asked Ton for a report. But he wants to keep the location of the city as a secret. According our travel paper the city was situated in the kingdom of Sukhothai, the first known Thai kingdom. Because the religion was more important then power, the city loses his importance to Ayuthaya. After a raging fire there remains only some temples.
