Thailand is a country full of temples and pagodas. Most of them aren't old. They build all the time new ones. There are thousands of them and there is a lot of variation. Totally different from countries as China, Nepal or Indonesia. The colors are more exuberant and the styles more divergent. It isn't easy to give a elaborated overview. All the time you see nice Statues. My camera likes them very much. More difficult is taking pictures of the whole of the complex. The automatic exposure meter has troubles, when there is to much sky on the picture.

Besides brand new temples they have near Bangkok an enormous stoepa, that's really old. Surrounded by a number over younger temples is dazzle in the sunlight. His diameter is at least 75 meters. You enter by a high stair with beautiful sculptures and white balustrades with dragons. On the parking somebody was screaming in microphone. So outside it was somewhat noisy. Inside it was a heaven of peace.  There are some bells. Childs hit the bells from time to time. Which give a special effect on the video.

One of the nicest complexes are in Mae Hong Sen. The same place with the festival and the tribes. The ornaments of the temples are from white moldy zinc. It is rather cheap compared with gold and other metals, but nevertheless it gives a special effect. Other temples are covered with gold and copper. Above three variations and an impression of the surrounding. Along the border of Laos and in Bangkok you see the heavy painted type with dragons on the roof like beneath.
